Product twister

The product twister is an innovative conveyor for inline rotating of cases and other unitised loads.

The loads can be rotated 90° or 180° in a continuous motion. This conveyor is used in packing lines where products need to be rotated upside down or to one side without delay or product damage. The product twister can accommodate a wide range of load sizes without adjustment.

Applications

The product twister is used as a conveyor for inline rotating of products. Product orientation can be diverted either 90° or 180°. Product rotation of 90° is often used and required upstream of palletisers.

For example, cases can be filled in the upright position, but have to be rotated 90° for correct position for stack pattern of palletiser.

Another example is the 180° product re-orientation for certain products and for other food products can be re-orientated to avoid setting of product during transport

A 90° or 180° movement by the product twister is also used to stir the contents of certain products in cases/boxes, like special chemicals/syrups to ensure proper mixing prior further usage of these products downstream.
