The roots of APOLLO were established back in the middle of the 19th century.

In 1847 Mr. Gijs van den Pol started his blacksmith shop in Nijkerk - Holland. Since then, the local one-man shop has developed itself into the current company with various subsidiaries, active in national and international markets. Till this day it is still the Van den Pol family who owns and manages this company.

APOLLO has focussed itself over the years on the design and delivery of components as well as complete integral solutions for mechanical handling and transport installations for different products.

Centralization of a number of activities resulted in building a new factory. Engineering, production and sales have been brought together under one roof. In the modern factory in Coevorden, the Netherlands, all system components are produced and assembled for the whole APOLLO product range.

Total employees of the APOLLO Group entails 100 persons.

APOLLO installations are produced according to the highest industrial standards and our quality is guaranteed by our certified NEN-EN-ISO9001:2000 quality system.

Service

APOLLO´s service department does not limit itself to just mounting and starting up of installations. Client specific service agreements including preventative maintenance ensure a smooth functioning of your Apollo transport installation over the years to come. Our service department is VCA* certified. The mechanics are all in the possession of a personal safety logbook with, as a minimum, the VCA-II certificate.
